Helping young women transcend from low income communities to become leaders of change

About

Katalyst helps with the elevation and transformation of young women from low income communities to lead change in their professional and personal lives. Katalyst provides an enabling environment to enhance the employability of girl students pursuing professional degrees or courses. Katalyst does this through specific interventions such as skill enhancement, mentor support, assistance with internships and exposure to corporate life.

"Gaja Capital was one of our first corporate donors. Their team has fervently supported us in ‘cash and kind’, right from on-the-ground volunteer support all the way to strategic advice. Their mentorship of the Katalyst girls has led to some very high quality outcomes, in terms of career progression of the students. Most significantly, we have been touched and positively impacted by the manner in which they have evangelised the program, across their large network of friends and associates.   What impressed us most about our interactions was the intensity of commitment that Gaja Capital brought along with their grant. The founders of Gaja Capital have been present at most of the significant Katalyst events. They bring to bear a wide organisational connect, people, funds, ideas, networks, and this has helped grow the program in numerous ways."
