About

Olympic Gold Quest (OGQ) is a program of the Foundation for Promotion of Sports and Games, a Not for Profit (Section 25) Company, which is committed to bridging the gap between the best athletes in India and the best athletes in the world thus helping Indian athletes to win Olympic Gold medals. OGQ raises donation from fans, individuals and organizations to support training of senior and junior Indian athletes who have a potential of winning an Olympic medal. Founded by Indian sporting legends Geet Sethi and Prakash Padukone, OGQ’s first test was the London 2012 Olympics. 4 out of the 6 Indian medalists were supported by OGQ.

“Gaja Capital has created great value for OGQ firstly in helping us with direct funding for our athletes almost from the start when OGQ was barely known and we really needed funding at the initial stages.  Secondly, they have also helped us in coming up with creative strategies for fund raising and spreading awareness about OGQ at least possible cost. This is crucial for a not for profit organisation. Lastly, Gaja Capital has opened a lot of doors for us to potential new supporters. The first impression that I had was that everyone at Gaja Capital right from Gopal to the rest of the team were very respectful of the work that OGQ was doing and they immediately understood the need for an organisation like OGQ to make a difference to India's achievement in sports at the international arena. Gopal himself as well as Imran and Ranjit have all been very proactive and have taken the time out from their extremely busy schedules to meet up with us for brainstorming and have also attended various OGQ events. Gaja Capital has been truly one of the pillars of OGQ. ”
